Jackson Academy entered their tilt with Pillow Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mustangs 42-7. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Josef Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 103 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Clark, who rushed for 55 yards and one score.

Jackson Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Pillow Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Jackson Academy and Madison-Ridgeland Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. Pillow Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
