Basketball Recap: Cuero Gets the Win

Cuero's tournament run continued when they took on Liberty on Saturday. Everything went the Cuero Gobblers' way against the Liberty Panthers as the Cuero Gobblers made off with a 69-45 victory.

Cuero's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Liberty, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Cuero will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Taylor at 9:00 a.m. on December 28th. As for Liberty, they are on the road again on Saturday to play YES Prep Northside at 2:00 p.m.
