The Osceola Kowboys will square off against the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Osceola took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Tohopekaliga with a sharp 11-3 win.

Osceola got a massive performance out of Destiny Ferrer, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Ferrer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Tenley Dawson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Osceola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tohopekaliga only posted an OBP of .296.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Charter Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Wolverines as they made off with a 9-3 victory.
Kaitlyn Tracy and Bekah Mitchell were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Tracy tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Mitchell pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. At bat, Tracy scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, while Mitchell went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that Tracy scored this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia Nogueras, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Jaelyn Phillips, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Osceola is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Cornerstone Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Cornerstone Charter Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Osceola has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Cornerstone Charter Academy, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given Osceola's sizable advantage in that area, Cornerstone Charter Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
