Volleyball Recap: Severance Has No Trouble Against Fort Lupton

Severance not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 6th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Fort Lupton Bluedevils with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Silver Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Severance was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Severance can attribute much of their success to Micaela Nethery, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Nethery has posted since back in September.

Severance's record now sits at 8-13. As for Fort Lupton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Severance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wellington on the 28th. As for Fort Lupton, they will square off against Weld Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
