Recap: Crowell Wildcats vs. Munday Moguls
After flying high against the Harrold Hornets last Tuesday, the Crowell Wildcats came back down to earth. Crowell took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Munday. Crowell has not had much luck with Munday recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Munday to victory were Talan Collins and Mance Phillips. Collins dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Phillips dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Willison, who scored 17 points.
Crowell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Munday, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Electra the next time they take the court. Crowell will head out to face Electra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Munday will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
