Volleyball Recap: Conifer Victorious + How To Watch

Conifer proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Silver Creek Raptors 3-2. The Lobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raptors, too.

Conifer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-15, 15-11.

Sage Bishop paced Conifer's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bishop got some help from Hayden Buscher and her 27 assists. Buscher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Conifer's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Silver Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Conifer has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Lakewood on the 9th. As for Silver Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Longmont on the 9th.
