Volleyball Recap: Pike Valley Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Pike Valley challenged Natoma on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Tianna Reeves paced Pike Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Reeves got some help from Kinley Cooper and her nine assists.

Pike Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-26. As for Natoma, they moved to 4-23 with that win, which also ended their nine-match losing streak.

Pike Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Tescott on the 21st. As for Natoma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln on the 14th.
