Volleyball Recap: Bonneville Takes a Loss

Bonneville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Viewmont Vikings. If the Lakers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Bonneville ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-20.

Semisi Christensen paced Bonneville's offense, picking up ten kills. Christensen got some help from Jase Musgrave and his 23 assists. Christensen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Bonneville's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Viewmont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Bonneville will venture away from home to take on Roy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Viewmont, they will host Woods Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Viewmont is facing Woods Cross at the right time seeing as Woods Cross is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
