Basketball Recap: South Hills Comes Up Short

South Hills was the 75-60 winner over Alta Loma when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The South Hills Huskies took a 70-55 bruising from the Alta Loma Braves on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 859th, while the Braves are ranked 375th).

South Hills' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Alta Loma, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Hills will welcome Los Altos at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South Hills has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matchups. Alta Loma has already played their next contest (against San Dimas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
