Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Brookings Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Rough Riders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Roosevelt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-18.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Brookings, with the victory, they broke their nine-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-17.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roosevelt is set to face off against their familiar foe Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brookings will take on rival Harrisburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
