Basketball Recap: Scott Central's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Scott Central was the 60-44 winner over Clarkdale when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell 34-24 to the Bulldogs on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Rebels' undefeated start to the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clarkdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wes Lewis, who posted 14 points. Lewis continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Cameron Crowell was another key player, putting up eight points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scott Central fell to 2-1. As for Clarkdale, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Scott Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on French Camp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Clarkdale, they will challenge Puckett at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
