Basketball Recap: Ridgecroft Comes Up Short

Ridgecroft was the 56-51 winner over Brunswick Academy when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams lost 66-44 to the Vikings on Saturday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Ridgecroft saw an underclassman step up: freshman Harrison Jones posted 15 points. The contest was Jones' fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Ethyn Beachboard was another key player, putting up eight points.

Ridgecroft's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brunswick Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Ridgecroft will host Albemarle School at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Brunswick Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Portsmouth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
