Volleyball Recap: Captain Shreve Takes a Loss

Captain Shreve was the 3-0 winner over West Monroe when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Captain Shreve has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-21 record this season. As for West Monroe, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Captain Shreve has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Alexandria on the 20th. As for West Monroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Leesville on the 18th.
