Fremont had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 71-40 win over the Smith Academy Fighting 54th. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Fighting 54th: they've now won seven in a row.

Despite the defeat, Smith Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Judah Smith posted 28 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Coming up, Fremont will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Elkhart Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smith Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on December 3.
