Basketball Recap: Red Mesa Takes a Loss

Red Mesa was the 60-29 winner over Dishchii'bikoh when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins lost 55-33 to the Wildcats on Friday. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Red Mesa lost, don't look at Ashley Jones. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Kailee Sage was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Red Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dishchii'bikoh, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Red Mesa will take on Whitehorse at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dishchii'bikoh, they will face off against Duncan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
