Drew had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Mt. Zion Bulldogs 43-12. Drew has beaten Mt. Zion the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Mt. Zion has come to flipping the script.

Drew found their leader in sophomore Dee Rogers, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimani Ramos, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Coincidentally, Drew and Mt. Zion will both be playing McNair the next time they take the court. Drew will host McNair at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Mt. Zion will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
