Football Recap: Pierce City Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pierce City can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 60-15 loss at the hands of the Thayer Bobcats. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Pierce City's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Thayer, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Pierce City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thayer, they will take on Marionville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
