Baseball Game Preview: Gainesville Leopards vs. Sanger Indians

For the second straight game, Gainesville will face off against Sanger. The Leopards are taking a road trip to challenge the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Gainesville came up short against Sanger and fell 6-3.

For Sanger's part, the team relied heavily on Levi Hendricks, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Hendricks a new career-high. Twister Wilson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run.

Sanger is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-21.
