After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Adair finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the Sequoyah Indians by a score of 3-1. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Adair's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Sequoyah, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.

Adair has already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Lincoln Christian on the 15th. As for Sequoyah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Roland on the 15th.
