Platte Canyon had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Clear Creek Golddiggers to the tune of 54-7. With the Huskies ahead 30-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Emma Flores had an outrageously good game as she posted ten points along with eight steals and six rebounds. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cameron Martinez, who scored 12 points and six steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platte Canyon will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Forge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clear Creek, they will face off against Conifer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
