Football Recap: Yazoo County Comes Up Short

Yazoo County and Noxubee County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Yazoo County had to settle for second. They lost 41-15 to the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since October 11, 2024.

Despite the loss, Yazoo County still got an impressive performance from Chandler Hardman, who rushed for 143 yards and one score.

Noxubee County can attribute much of their success to Christon Glenn, who picked up 70 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Glenn a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Yazoo County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5. As for Noxubee County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

As of now, neither Yazoo County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
