Soccer Recap: Woonsocket Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Woonsocket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Providence Cougars, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Woonsocket can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while North Providence are ranked tenth).

Woonsocket's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for North Providence, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woonsocket will square off against Ponaganset at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Providence, they will challenge Pilgrim at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
