Martin Luther King lost to Strawberry Mansion back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Knights 63-20.

Martin Luther King's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Duckett led the charge by putting up 12 points. Those 12 points gave Duckett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaheam Burton, who posted 12 points.

The victory got Martin Luther King back to even at 1-1. As for Strawberry Mansion, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
