Basketball Recap: Wheeler Falls to Ingomar in First Game of Season

Wheeler had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 78-63 bruising from the Ingomar Falcons. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Wheeler lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Case Null, who shot 47% from the field en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Preston Bishop, who posted 16 points and three steals.

Ingomar has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will square off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ingomar, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
