Baseball Recap: Tioga Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Tioga saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the South Terrebonne Gators by a score of 5-2.

Tioga pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for South Terrebonne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Tioga will face off against Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rosepine will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tioga surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Terrebonne, they will head out on the road to square off against Hammond at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Terrebonne is facing Hammond at the right time seeing as Hammond is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
