It was a good run, but Lewis County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Summertown Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since August 19th.

Lewis County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-14.

Lewis County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for Summertown, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis County will venture away from home to challenge Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summertown, they will challenge Collinwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
