Softball Game Preview: Porum Panthers vs. Stuart Hornets

The Porum Panthers will face off against the Stuart Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Porum 2.6, Stuart 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Porum is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Porter a 21-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stuart came up short against Caddo on Monday and fell 8-3.

Stuart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Bear, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Porum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Stuart, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
