Soccer Recap: Folsom Takes a Loss

Folsom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Folsom's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for Davis Sr., the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Folsom has already played their next contest (against Jesuit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Davis Sr. will face off against Granite Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Granite Bay's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
