Football Game Recap: Monticello vs. Oelwein

Everything came up roses for Monticello against Oelwein on Friday as the squad secured a 50-14 win. 50 seems to be a good number for Monticello as the team scooped up a victory with the same point total in their game last week.

The victory bumped Monticello's record up to 5-3. The defeat dropped Oelwein's record to 2-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Monticello take on Columbus at 7:00 PM. As for Oelwein, they will face off against Anamosa. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
