Volleyball Recap: Chisago Lakes Area's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Chisago Lakes Area lost against Monticello back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Magic.

Chisago Lakes Area couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Monticello a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 29-31, 25-12, 26-24, 25-21.

Mariah Cave paced Chisago Lakes Area's offense, picking up 12 kills. Cave were helped by Morgan Mayer and Kianna Osmundson, who contributed 15 assists each. Finally, Cave was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Ada Nelson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and one assist.

Chisago Lakes Area's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Monticello, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Coming up, Chisago Lakes Area will head out to take on Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monticello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
