Football Recap: Ritchie County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ritchie County can now relate to. They were dealt a 44-8 defeat at the hands of the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Rebels couldn't push the score so high this time.

Turner Shriver threw for 31 yards on five of ten attempts.

Ritchie County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clay-Battelle, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As of now, neither Ritchie County nor the Cee-Bees have any future games scheduled.
