Ambleside had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over the Mile High Academy Mustangs. The win was familiar territory for the Skylarks, who have now won six games in a row dating back to last season.
Leading Ambleside to victory were Bradyn Lewis and Nate Nardella. Lewis went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points, while Nardella dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Lewis is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Malakhi Patterson, who posted four points and six steals.
Ambleside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-28 victory against Parkhill Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Mile High Academy, they will face off against Ascent Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th.
