Baseball Recap: Sullivan Find Success

Sullivan won the last time they faced North Knox and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Arrows walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Arrows.

Hunter Mason made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Jaden Norris was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Ty Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Sullivan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Knox only posted a batting average of .200.

Sullivan's record is now 2-0.

Coming up, Sullivan is taking a road trip to square off against Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Knox, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lawrenceville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
