Dwyer had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 83-50 win over the Palm Beach Gardens Gators. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators on Friday, too.

Despite the loss, Palm Beach Gardens had strong showings from Chaunc'E Baker, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds, and Jayden Young, who posted 16 points.

Palm Beach Gardens' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dwyer will take on Coral Springs Charter on Friday. As for Palm Beach Gardens, they will face off against Grandview Prep at 8:30 p.m. on the 29th.
