Bennett came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Rye, but Eli Guzman wouldn't allow it. The Thunderbolts walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Tigers on Saturday for which the team can thank Guzman, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten boards. His big performance that afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Wyatt Scheid was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 16 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.

Rye's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bennett, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Rye will venture away from home to face off against Kim/Branson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bennett, they will face off against Byers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
