Basketball Game Preview: C.H. Friend Red Jackets vs. Hargrave Military Academy Tigers

The C.H. Friend Red Jackets will head out on the road to challenge the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

C.H. Friend took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Timberlake Christian 69-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead C.H. Friend to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacari Coles, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Coles is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziyad Holt, who went 7-for-16 en route to 17 points and eight assists.

Meanwhile, Hargrave Military Academy made easy work of Lab University Christian Academy National on Tuesday and carried off a 65-45 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Hargrave Military Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for C.H. Friend, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
