Soccer Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Jefferson lost 4-1 to Miller City. Jefferson hasn't had much luck with Miller City recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jefferson's goal came courtesy of Kyah Kimmett, who's now up to 22 this season.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Miller City, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Lima Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Miller City, they will head out to take on St. John's at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
