Basketball Game Preview: Bell Gardens Lancers vs. Alhambra Moors

Bell Gardens and Alhambra are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Bell Gardens Lancers will take on the Alhambra Moors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Bell Gardens didn't have quite enough to beat Schurr and fell 59-57. The Lancers have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Alhambra took a blow against Mark Keppel on Friday, falling 61-34. While losing is never fun, the Moors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 758th, while the Aztecs are ranked 276th).

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bell Gardens, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Bell Gardens came up short against Alhambra in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 59-48. Can Bell Gardens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
