Basketball Game Preview: Albemarle Bulldogs vs. Northern Guilford Nighthawks

Two dominant guards in Amari Baldwin and Leena McField are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Albemarle Bulldogs and the Northern Guilford Nighthawks will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Albemarle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Saturday, Albemarle was fully in charge, breezing past The Burlington School 76-27. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 35 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Northern Guilford entered their game against Watauga on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Northern Guilford might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Watauga an easy 61-41 win.

Albemarle's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Northern Guilford, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
