Basketball Recap: New Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

New Faith Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 47-43 to the Wayne County Yellow Jackets. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wayne County had a senior duo take command as Ralph Doomes went 8-for-15 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds and Dwayne Smith dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

This is the second loss in a row for New Faith Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Wayne County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, New Faith Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Furtah Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne County, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Valdosta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
