Volleyball Recap: Armijo Comes Up Short

Armijo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Florin Panthers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Royals were not able to get on the board.

While Armijo ultimately came up short, they really made Florin work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 26-24.

Armijo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Florin, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Armijo is set to face off against their familiar foe West Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Florin will take on rival Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
