Basketball Recap: Aidyn Lundy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Blair County Christian over Great Commission

If Blair County Christian was feeling good fresh off their 53-32 takedown of Johnstown Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blair County Christian Bobcats fell 36-25 to the Great Commission Bears on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-38 back in January.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidyn Lundy, who posted six points and 13 rebounds. Lundy has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hileman, who earned six points and nine rebounds.

Blair County Christian's record is now 8-12. As for Great Commission, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Blair County Christian and Great Commission will both be playing Bedford County CIA the next time they take the court. Blair County Christian will host Bedford County CIA at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Great Commission will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th.
