Volleyball Recap: McDermitt Takes a Loss

McDermitt lost against Eureka back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Vandals, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

McDermitt was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.

McDermitt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Eureka, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McDermitt is set to take on their familiar foe Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eureka will square off against rival Owyhee at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
