After flying high against Northeast last Tuesday, Dublin came back down to earth. The Dublin Fighting Irish lost 10-0 to the Swainsboro Tigers on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Swainsboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dublin will take on Northeast at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Swainsboro, they will challenge Thomson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Thomson 2.7, Swainsboro 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
