Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Christian Patriots

After both having extra time off, the Bishop's Knights and the Christian Patriots will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Bishop's heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Wednesday. They fell just short of Coronado by a score of 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bishop's sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-27, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Christian lost 3-0 to Torrey Pines on Wednesday.

While Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Torrey Pines' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 27-25.

Christian's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-8.

Bishop's beat Christian 2-0 in their previous meeting back in August of 2023. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
