Lafayette put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Vermilion Catholic Eagles 56-36. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lafayette's record is now 3-0. As for Vermilion Catholic, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Lafayette will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lafayette Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 10. As for Vermilion Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy on Tuesday.
