Basketball Game Preview: Round Rock Dragons vs. Tyler Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Round Rock Dragons will jump right back in to play the Tyler Lions at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Tyler will be up against a hot Round Rock squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 78-53 margin over Royse City on Thursday. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tyler was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 72-66 to Tyler Legacy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tyler fell to 4-1. As for Round Rock, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
