Volleyball Recap: Western Dubuque Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Western Dubuque won the last time they faced Wapsie Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bobcats came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0.

While Western Dubuque won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Wapsie Valley still got an impressive performance from Kalle Voy, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Western Dubuque pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wapsie Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 19-10 record.

Coming up, Western Dubuque will head out to challenge Waverly-Shell Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wapsie Valley, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Mt. Vernon at 2:00 p.m.
