Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was the 6-3 winner over Belmont when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Minutemen fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Lexington has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Belmont, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lexington is set to face off against their familiar foe Arlington at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Belmont will challenge rival Winchester at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
