Football Recap: Warrior Run Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Lewisburg came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Warrior Run, but Denyn Beachel wouldn't allow it. The Defenders managed a 29-24 victory over the Green Dragons on Friday with plenty of help from Beachel, who rushed for 114 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 114 rushing yards.

When it comes to explaining why Lewisburg lost, don't look at Xavier Carter. Despite the final result, he threw for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Warrior Run pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games. As for Lewisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
